Day 1 - Arrival Arusha. Overnight stay in
Arusha.
Day 2 - After breakfast you will be transferred to Machame Gate where you will
commence your climb with the assistance of porters and a guide. The walk to
Machame camp at 3000m takes 4 hours. Dinner and overnight stay at Machame Camp.
Day 3 - The walk to Shira takes approximately 5-6 hours. Your dinner and overnight
stay will be at Shira Camp 3800m.
Day 4 - Ascent to Lava Tower – The route from Lava Tower to Barranco passes
through a boulder strewn desert zone. Dinner and overnight stay at Barranco
Camp 3940m.
Day 5 - After breakfast leave Barranco Valley on the southern slopes of Kilimanjaro
before the trail turns north and ascend to Barafu for dinner and overnight stay
Barafu Camp 4600m.
Day 6 - After midnight start your ascent to the summit arriving at the crater
rim at dawn. Continue on the Uhuru peak, the highest point of Africa at 5896m.
After taking in the view and signing the summit book, descend to Barafu Camp
and on to Mweka Camp.
Day 7 - Your descent to the park gate will take 3 – 4 hours. You will collect
your certificate at the gate then transfer to Arusha for overnight stay.
Day 8 - Tour ends in Arusha.

Day 1 - Kihansi Tours and Safaris will meet you at the airport on your arrival
by KLM. Transfer to Arusha for meals and overnight stay at Hotel Impala / Novotel

Day 2 - Morning at leisure, to give you time to buy films, safari literature

Day 6 - After breakfast continue to Manyara via Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at Kururumu.
Afternoon, wildlife safari in Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 7 - Leave the camp after breakfast for Arusha. Lunch and day room at Mt.
Meru Hotel. At 6 pm drive to flight to Zanzibar or home.

SELOUS, MIKUMI, RUAHA, UDZUNGWA
Day 1 - Arrive Dar Es Salaam, transfer to a city hotel. In the afternoon a city
tour, visit Makonde Wood Carvers and National Museum. Meals and overnight stay
at a city hotel.
Day 2 - Depart the hotel after breakfast travel to Morogoro, Matombo on to Selous
wildlife reserve arrive in time for dinner and overnight stay at Rufiji River
Camp.
Day 3 – Today Selous wildlife reserve offers the following options: boat safari,
walking safari and wildlife safari. Overnight stay at Rufiji River Camp.
Day 4 - Early departure for Mikumi National Park, lunch at the camp. Afternoon
wildlife safari. Dinner and overnight stay at Vuma Hill Camp.
Day 5 - After breakfast drive south to Ruaha National Park in time for lunch.
Afternoon wildlife safari in the park, meals and overnight stay at Mwagusi Safari
Camp.
Day 6 - Morning wildlife safari in Ruaha Park then return to Mikumi with packed
lunch. Overnight stay at Vuma Hill Camp.
Day 7 - Today drive to Udzungwa National Park. Afternoon at leisure. Meals and
overnight stay at Twiga Hotel
Day 8 - Morning – guided walking safari plus hiking in the Udzungwa National
Park, meals at a local hotel. Afternoon visit the nearby village, meet people
and watch traditional dances in the evening. Overnight stay at local Twiga Hotel.
Day 9 - After breakfast drive to Dar Es Salaam with lunch break at Morogoro
town. Arrive Dar Es Salaam in the evening and transfer to Sea Cliff Hotel for
meals and overnight stay.
Day 10 - Transfer to Dar Es Salaam.
A tour across Tanzania for more than a month, taking you off
the tourist trails.

stay at the Lodge.
Day 8 – Today, with the assistance of guides from Sisi kwa sisi, hike to volcanic
Ngozi Peak 2620 m below which is an impressive crater lake. Lunch will be served
in the wild. Afternoon drive to Tukuyu for overnight stay.
Day 9 - Another day around Tukuyu. Among interesting places to visit is the
natural bridge (bridge of God) estimated to have been formed around 1800 million
years ago by water flowing through cooling lava that spewed out from the nearby
Rungwe volcano. Also, optional visit to the Masoko Crater and Kaporogwe Falls.
You spend the night at Tukuyu.
Day 10 - A must to see before leaving Mbeya area is the Mbozi Meteorite, estimated
to 25 metric tons and fourth largest in the world, the meteorite is located
on western slope of Marengi Hill. Afternoon drive to Mbeya for overnight stay.
Day 11 - After breakfast depart Mbeya for Sumbawanga with picnic lunch. Dinner
and overnight stay Sumbawanga.
Day 12 - Early morning departure for Katavi. Break for lunch at Mpanda. Dinner
and overnight stay at Katavi Camp.
Day 13 - Morning and afternoon wildlife safaris in Katavi. Dinner and overnight
stay at Katavi Camp.
Day 14 - Full day Katavi. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 15 - Full day Katavi. Lunch dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 16 - Depart Katavi for Kigoma with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 21 - After breakfast, boat to Kigoma. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at

Day 22 - Early morning drive to Biharamulo with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight
stay at Biharamulo.
Day 23 - Drive to Mwanza. Dinner and overnight stay at Mwanza on the shores
of Lake Victoria.
Day 24 - Boat trip on Lake Victoria. Lunch will be served on the boat. Dinner
and overnight stay at Mwanza.
Day 25 - Tour of Mwanza visiting the Sukuma Museum, the Sukuma being the biggest
tribe in the country. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay in Mwanza.
Day 26 - Depart Mwanza for Serengeti Lunch Lobo Wildlife Lodge. Afternoon wildlife
safari. Dinner and overnight stay at Lobo Wildlife Lodge.
Day 27 - Full day with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight stay at Lobo Wildlife

Day 28 - After breakfast depart Serengeti for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge.

Day 34 - Morning depart for Tarangire. Lunch Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Afternoon

Day 35 - Morning wildlife safari then depart to Arusha arriving for lunch at
Ilboru Safari Lodge. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Ilboru

Day 36 - After breakfast drive to Arusha National Park with picnic lunch. Evening
Drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 37 – Today we drive to Marangu Gate from where you will be assisted to the
first hut. Overnight stay at Mandara Hut.
Day 38 - Drive to Arusha, lunch Novotel Mount Meru with day room, evening transfer
to flight to Zanzibar or home.
This program is designed to enable handicapped/disabled
people to enjoy the tourist attractions of Tanzania. Kilimanjaro, Momella, Tarangire,
Manyara, Ndutu Ngorongoro and Serengeti.
Day 1 - Arrive Arusha by KLM, you are met for transfer to your hotel for meals
and overnight stay at Moivaro Plantation Lodge.
Day 2 - Pick up from your Hotel, travel to Marangu and on to Kilimanjaro Mountain.
You attempt to climb the roof of Africa by vehicle up to the first hut at Mandara
for meals and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Here you enjoy the atmosphere of mounatins and dense forests. Go bird
and butterfly watching. Meals and overnight stay at Mandara Hut.
Day 4 - Descend to the gate and be awarded certificates for your efforts in
climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. Drive to Arusha National Park, lunch at Momella Game
Lodge, at noon guided walking safari. Dinner and overnight stay at Momella Game
Lodge.
Day 5 - Morning wildlife safari, visit the Momella lakes and Ngurudoto Crater.
After lunch continue to Tarangire for dinner and overnight stay at Tarangire
Sopa Lodge.
Day 6 - The day is spent on full day wildlife safari in the Tarangire National
Park. Meals and overnight stay at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day 7 - Morning you are at leisure. Lunch Tarangire, then drive to Manyara Serena
for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 - With packed lunch, enjoy the day in Manyara National Park, visiting
hippo pool, hot water spring and the Rift Valley track. Dinner and overnight
stay at Lake
Manyara Serena.
Day 9 - After breakfast there is time to spend by the hotel pool. Lunch at hotel.
Noon drive to Gibbs Farm, visit the coffee plantation and waterfalls, then continue
to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 10 - This is the day to enjoy the eighth wonder of the world –The Ngorongoro
Crater. Collect picnic lunch, descend into the crater for the full day wildlife
viewing. Dinner and overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 11 - You will be picked up after breakfast for drive to Olduvai Gorge Museum.
After brief lectures and sightseeing continue to Ndutu for lunch, then wildilfe
viewing in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at Ndutu Safari Lodge.
Day 12 - Morning wildlife safari around Lake Ndutu, lunch at the lodge. Afternoon
free. Dinner and overnight stay at Ndutu Safari Lodge.
Day 13 - Drive to Serengeti, wildlife viewing en route, lunch at Sopa Lodge.
Afternoon free, dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 14 - Full day wildlife safari with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight stay
at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 15 - Morning free, lunch at the lodge. Late afternoon wildlife viewing.
Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 16 - After breakfast, transfer to Seronera airstrip for flight to Arusha.
Transfer to Redds restaurant for lunch. Dinner and overnight stay at Mt. Meru
Hotel.
Day 17 – Free day with the option of a town tour. Meals and overnight stay at
Mt. Meru Hotel.
Day 18 - Morning shopping, lunch at the hotel. Evening transfer to flight to Zanzibar or home.
This is a more leisurely tour which allows
more time to relax your mind and body, yet should give you plenty to tell your
grandchildren!
Day 1 - The representative of the company will meet you on arrival – to assist

Day 5 - Visit the park in the morning for possible sighting of tree-climbing
lions. Hippos, Flamingos, Giraffes, Elephants should also be seen. Lunch and
relaxation from noon. Dinner and overnight stay at Manyara Serena Lodge.
Day 6 - Drive to Gibbs Farm for lunch. At noon, guided tour of the coffee plantations
and visit the waterfalls. Late evening drive to Ngorongoro. Dinner and overnight
stay at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 7 - Collect packed lunch at the lodge for the full day crater tour – The
crater is the eighth wonder of the world. Wildlife is plentiful and can be
viewed at a very close range. At 5 pm ascend to the rim of the crater and on
to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 8 - At 9 am leave the lodge for Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge museum. Then
drive on to your lodge for lunch. Late in the afternoon, wildlife watching in
the Serengeti National Park. Meals and overnight stay at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 9 – Today there is a very early wildlife safari before breakfast back at
the lodge. Time to relax, then lunch. Evening wildlife safari starts at 3 pm.
Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 10 - With picnic lunch pack, head off for a full day’s wildlife safari in
the Serengeti National Park. Meals and overnight stay at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 11 - Drive to Seronera airstrip after breakfast for flight to Arusha. You
will be met and transferred to Ilboru Safari Lodge. This is a day for relaxation.
Meals and overnight stay at Ilboru Safari Lodge.
Day 12 – Today is for shopping and sightseeing in Arusha. Meals and overnight
stay at Ilboru Safari Lodge.
Day 13 - Morning free, lunch at Redds Grill House. At 5 pm proceed to flight to Zanzibar or home.
After tours and safaris you can/should head for the beaches.
All our hotels have been vetted by us, which should ensure good quality. Zanzibar,
Mombasa, Pangani, Mafia Island; The beaches south of Dar Es Salaam are extremely
pleasant but there is only one hotel. It is excellent but expensive. The beach
north of Dar is suitable for a couple of days. It is easy to reach and inexpensive.
